Affiliate disclosure

The requirement that any commercial relationship between a review or comparison site and a gambling operator is clearly and prominently disclosed.

In detail

UKGC, ASA and CMA guidance converge: if a review site earns commission from referring players, the relationship must be disclosed unambiguously and prominently — before the user clicks an affiliate link, not buried in a footer. Phrases like 'this is an ad' or 'we earn a commission when you sign up' satisfy the standard. Vague language like 'partners' or 'featured' generally does not.
